Re: Norse paganism surviving traditions

Yes,I think that is so Venefica. The spirits of the mighty dead, immortalised in tale and song, remembered over and over.Heroes and Villians.Over time God and man blend into one.

I'd written a long post in answer to you Philoneus, but I lost it 'cos I 'm a dummy and my session timed out.I need to remember about that.Duh moment.

I 'll try again later,probably,lol.

Re: Norse paganism surviving traditions

But then what is a God really. In most languages the word God just means that which is worshiped, that which is respected and adored and so on. Would mighty ancestors who once walked these lands be any less worthy of worship, be any less Gods and beings of pure Spirit?
