Well umm that's a very broad question. Do you have any specifics? I'm not versed on the whole faith but I do have knowledge on certain aspects.

You could always google for your answers. (http://www.google.com)

*Hugs you* Thank you! It looks to be a fantastic and well researched resource. I am extremly interested in the Nothern faiths of old and new and so far have not been able to find much beside Wiccan interpretations or purely historical sources.

Good question spiritual gal.
Asatru is the ancestral faith of all people of northern europrean (Germanic) decent (I'll mention at this point that other religions such as Druidism and Celtic Paganism can also claim to be ancestral faiths or people of northern european ancestory and they are just as right in doing so). After the fall of the Roman empire and on through the dark ages, many different kinds of germanic peoples migrated thoughout Europe such as the Angles, Saxons, Jutes, Franks, Goths, Huns, Normans, Tuetons, Vandals, and of course, the Norse. All of these people worshipped the same gods, though some under different names, such as Odhinn (also called Odin, Woden, and Wotan), Thorr (also called Donar and Thunar), and Tyr (also called Tiwas and Zius). "Asatru" means "belief in the gods" in Old Icelandic. Asatru preists and preistesses are called "gothis" and "gythias" respectively. Asatruar believe in loyalty to freinds and family, standing up for yourself, and respecting nature. Asatru morality is desribed in The Nine Noble Virtues and The Havamal.
A good website to go to would be http://www.asatru.org
Some good books to read would be "Northern Mysteries And Magick" by Freya Aswynn and about anything by Edred Thorrson.

I would highly recommend looking into Edred Thorrson's texts, and his press, Runa Raven press. However, many of the books he offers from Runa Raven are not for beginners. Two good books to begin with by him are Futhark and Runelore, after that, it's the sky is the limit. and the only thing limiting you would be your own mind.
