This reminds me of that Movie with Bill Pullman I saw in the 80s:
The Serpent And The Rainbow. And Then I remembered that post
by WDW: The Transformer. With the Snakes at the side pointing
up to the Rainbow. It's a cool correlation! That I just realized.

Anyways, I thought it was a pretty decent movie for anyone who hasn't
seen it. I'm not sure what my opinion would be today, since my Movie
standards are slightly more elevated.

The book is better, but the movie is worth a go.
