Sure, it could be like that... Plato wrote about Atlantis with special respect for its society, what is quite strange if Athens was in long time war with Atlantis. It could be some kind of utopic vision of perfect society as opposed to Athenian society in that time. He called it Atlantis. It doesn't...

Honestly I've never realized such Achad's greatness, nor the poorness of Fortune. They are different people with different perspective. In my personal opinion they are both excelent kabbalists, but the best for me is František Franz Bardon's The Key to the True Kabbalah (Quaballah). Fortune is great...

Atlantis and similar catastrophy myths are reminiscent of some disaster what happened in distant history. I would say it is archetypal fear that is imbeded in human collective consciousness.
