Goodbye

Good luck everyone and thanks for everything. [pray]

Re: Bardon's IIH students. The phenomena at the end of the b

I've worked some of the beginning steps of IIH, but it's personal application that matters. If anyone is following though on the whole work and to the letter they most likely won't be responding to a forum post. There are groups of people who do the work and talk with each other. I don't know of any...

Re: Haven't been sure where to start

I'm not sure how prevalent the energy paradigm was a couple hundred years ago. Most of the things I have read from early times relate to the spirit/entity paradigm and use banishing, binding, or cursing. The few techniques I learned from things handed down via family lines were more kitchen witch st...

Re: Books about Runes for beginners

Futhark: A Handbook of Rune Magic by Edred Thorsson would be a pretty solid book to start with. Rune Magic: The History and Practice of Ancient Runic Traditions, by Nigel Pennick gives a wider overview of runes through history in different cultures if you want more knowledge from a different source ...

Re: Imaginary friends and manifestation

Choose a dialogue partner with some non-human qualities that would preclude you ever meeting them as a human. Another method, create the being yourself. This may take a lot more work than initiating a relationship with an extant being.

I used to have a copy of the Golden Dawn, and I would recommend getting it as a reference, lots of stuff in there.

Re: Dove-tailing systems? How many max?

I have not worked within an order but I have worked with various systems over the years, and with some groups. There are various kinds of systems. The western hermetic tradition itself is already a large conglomeration of various things from many cultures. Other systems are reconstructions of what pe...

Translating the Simon Necronomicon's conjurations, etc.

As a preface, I'm aware that in the Necronomicon the editor points out that some of the text may not be Sumerian at all, and may refer to other languages or even barbarous tongue. In any case I've started doing research into the Simon Necronomicon and I'm starting to examine sumerian to english tran...

Try different methods yourself (which you will do anyway even after reading some advice you perceive as great). Than after you do, keep a record of your results and use the method that produces the best results for you.

Re: the key of Solomon book recommendation

I have not used the Solomonic method although I have experimented with invisibility with a few different methods. Two problems I have had. One is people not knowing I'm there, and then suddenly noticing me and getting scared, even jumping back with that sudden intake of breath and putting their hand...

Re: Building my own system..where I'm at...help if you can

Here is one suggestion that has worked for me. Step 1. Get clear on your goal. Until you do that there is no way to move forward, since you will not know if you are closer to what you want. In this case it is a development of a system. But what does that system do? If it is simply a set of theories,...

Thanks guys :) I have not studied Shugendo, however upon looking it up I see it is a mixture of several different paths including Vajrayana Buddhism, which I have studied and done a bit of practice with, and Taoism, which I have read about and contemplated upon. I do not know what particular practic...

Re: Necronomicon Banishing Spells

I have examined the Simon Necronomicon. The grimoire specifically mentions the use of solar invocations to succeed with banishing in this work. Having that in mind, I have looked through the protective methods, banishing conjurations, etc. which I will list by title as they appear in the text. I wil...

Re: Whatcha reading?

I'm currently reading Julius Evola's Yoga of Power, Simon's Neconomicon materials (all extant works), and Thomas Willhite's Path to Liberty. I will then be moving on to Peter Paddon's Enchantment, and Jason Miller's Financial Sorcery, and Franz Bardon's newly released Universal Master Key.

I have studied variously for about 18 years. Each topic minimally for a few months using it until I could get some good results and benefits, verify that they work, then moving on to other things.
