Magic 8 Ball
I recently dug up my magic 8 ball after cleaning out the last of my things from my parent's house. If you're not familiar with it, you shake it and it gives you something along the lines of a yes or no answer. My 8 ball has been giving some strangely correct answers and I'm wondering if it is charme...

Re: A realization about occultism and social interactions
Oh boy I know your feelings all too well. I found myself at a dinner table with an athiest, a fundamentalist, and a professor who was prying trying to understand my passion for researching the correlation between religion and science. I wanted to throw occult out there so badly but I feared both the...

Who's chatting?
You guys should spend more time in the chat room. It is empty in there, or is it just my timezone?
Any West US people here?

Re: Thelema anybody?
I was really interested in it for a while, but I got to the point where I needed to stick to one path and OTO had to temporarily go on the back burner. I was working through the information on this website: http://www.ordoaa.org/ I like the above site because it gives you tasks for each level of the...

[lol] Nice article EternalReturn!!
Sorry manofsands, I've never heard of a god of coffee. I've only really worked with Hindu gods and in Hinduism coffee is sometimes seen as unhealthy if I'm not mistaken.

Re: Caffeine and the Occult
Wow these are some very interesting replies. Thank you all for sharing. I'm very happy to hear that the middle pillar ritual in the morning has helped generate energy for the day. I am chronically fatigued so I'm excited to see what the middle pillar can do for me. Time to crack open my Modern Magic...

Caffeine and the Occult
A year ago I managed to get completely addicted to coffee, and before that I had never been a coffee drinker. If I didn't drink coffee I would get headaches and I would feel like a zombie. About 3 months ago I managed to get un-addicted to caffeine and completely stopped drinking coffee, but then I ...

Re: Hello Everyone
I liurked there for a long time and I've shared info or sent folk over to read from there many times over, especially when it was quiet here and members had Evocation/Grimoire questions and such. [grin] Vovin was in discussion with a group of members [including mods] about handing over the database ...

Re: Self improvement
I like this post :D thank you :D also I have no problem with lots of information. Nothing is bad as lack of information. [crazy] I did this MTBI a few years ago and now the result is completely different than then. Interesting enough, it really is INFJ as you wrote [grin] Well this could be a sure ...

Re: Self improvement
Hi, As I was reading through the posts in this thread I thought I might be able to provide some valuable input. You really remind me of myself when I first started out, and your goals are very similar to mine (self improvement, and "growth to understand the world, myself, and people"). Und...

Re: Hello Everyone
Hi meta! What kind of occultism do you like to study? I was thinking the same thing. Super disappointing. I thought occultists were supposed to master their egos. I like to study hermeticism, astral projection, Satanism, and chaos magic. I'm really open to anything though. Do you guys know what shu...

It's such a sad thing to happen, that site is a treasure trove of good information and it will be greatly missed.
Sure was. I'll miss that site, it's a shame.

Hello Everyone
Hi, I'm very excited to join this community and to see what it can offer for me and what I can offer it. I've been studying the occult for over 7 years and I've spent a lot of time on occult forums such as this one. My favorite forum recently closed down so now I'm here! My favorite topics are mysti...
