A lucid warning?

Post by Occult Forum Archive »

Original post: Eliphis_Levi

just about 3 hours ago i was practacing some astral technics before i went to sleep(i mashed together some things to create this technic..dont worry astral dynamics is on its way)like i have been for the past 3 or 4 days when all the sudden i was lucidly dreaming i.it was dark and i was riding a bike past this house that looked very interesting so i stoped and looked at it closely..... and it had the words occult(how genaralImage) writen near the front door and a bunch of anime posters and stuff(im a BIG fan) and i thought i should leave before i looked like a stalker.

I then rode a few houses down from the house until i saw this girl standing pretty much in the street..at this time i began to slip out of it and i fought hard to stay in untill it stoped. she then said in a desperate voice "please dont talk to me.go back. we cannot meet" as if she knew me before or something. i would like to note that i was very attracted to her in both a physical and emotional way. i replied to her statment right before i got sucked out. I said "i want to talk to you we must meet" and before i could get anything else out i got sucked out of it and awoken wanting to understand more about that house and the girl.

heh maybe she is a future love or something and something bad comes from us meeting( i dont think my girlfriend will like that very muchImage)

what do you guys think?

P.S. this isent my first lucid dream..this one just seemed imoprtant

Sounds like something 'more' than a future lover to me.

But then again. It doesn't matter what I think. It's your dream.

 I'm thinking that nothing good could come from meeting this girl. If you're riding your bike at night and you come across this house my suggestion is to turn right around and head the other way. Next time you go to sleep keep the dream in your mind and will yourself to pick up the dream at the point you woke up, you might find out more why you two must not meet.

yeah I have tried having it again...but its just not working out...oh well its probably better to forget it because im sure it was just my brain giving me a mystery to work out or something.
I will come back to it later when i dont think about it so much(if i remember)

Sounds like another Anime obsessed, delusional, person who starves to aspire to something great. Lemme guess you have dreams of saving the world right? Often lay there and think out elaborate fantasies with you conjouring a spell that totally drains you but you still save the world. Get out of your fantasy world, and see the world for what it is.

This was a little harsh, the guy just said he had a dream and wanted to know what it could mean. Pehaps you should get out of YOUR fantasy world and perhaps adopt a less condescending attitude.

 I agree with you Horus it was harsh and not just a little bit either. I can't see how that person drew that conclusion from the dream Eliphis_Levi told us. All we know is he dreamt he was riding and came across a house with occult written on it and anime posters on it, then he saw this girl and she said they could not meet. Now we don't know what will happen if he meets her outside of dreams. Could be it causes a breakup with his current girlfriend or it could go all the way up to ending the world (which I doubt would happen but I like to keep the possibilities open). You know now that I've thought about it a little bit more the dream may mean that Eliphis_Levi's destiny may be in the occult (hence the word occult on the house) and may be drawing anime (hence the anime posters and stuff on the house) and the girl will just side track him so he never fulfills that destiny. Just a thought.

Lucid dreams are hard to interpret, i tend to go for the most obvious and unromantic answer. I once went on a quest for information about a particular person and it turned into an erotic dream. My interpretation of this was that i could probably do with a boyfriend. I your case i am thinking you are fed up with your relationship and fancy a change. Not everything in astral or lucid dreams or beings you encounter mean something important, it may just be an unconscious desire you haven't realised yet.

Must just say, I joined the forums simply on the stregnth of this thread.
Just a theory of mine, and I'm gonna be brief about it, perhaps the girl you met will turn out to be a daughter of your's in the future. The reason she said you could not speak may be that you weren't meant to know what fate has in store for you. I can't believe no-one else thought of this.
Either that or the slightly less interesting future love thing.

If she was a daughter type, you would feel a different energy of love, so I wouldn't worry there. http://www.lucidity.com/ offers a lot about certain techniques regarding lucid dreaming, one of which can bring you back to the point where your previous dream stopped. (Don't buy all their dream paraphernalia though - unless you have to).

Interesting dream. I'd say the girl you met in there meets the requirements you desire, wherefore you felt this thing called desire - it has to be that obvious! Who she will or may turn out to be in real life remains to be seen, it could well be your girlfriend transformed in who you want her to be, or who she becomes eventually. Could be someone else. But that is for you to find out.

An easy way to reconstruct a previous dream is to remember certain points and call them up in your memory. The funny thing about our memories is that they are stacked according to certain associations. If you're able to reconstruct enough of the previous dream you'll be amazed how other 'forgotten' parts pop up. Yet it's just the simple working of memory storage in our brains.

So in the best possible way, keep dreaming.
