Beginner help

Hi everyone,

I am at the very beginning of my training and I would like to learn more on chaos magic but before i get into that path i am learning some stuff about meditation and crystals and chakras and other bits and pieces of magic systems. And with all this reading i would like a few questions answered if you guys could spare the time. All information and resources welcome!

1. Imbuing energy into an object. I'm quite curious on this form of magic and i would like to try it out on a object of mine that is already of personal value to me which is a bit of magic in itself. My question is: Since the object is already charged with some energy of mine (it produces memories and good thoughts thus making good energy) can I "strengthen" this object's energy and have it help me with my magic/meditation or anything for that matter?

2. Basics of magic: I have started reading a book about meditation and meditating with crystals and find it interesting. But I would like to know what other things I could do to start off my magical training that is simple and effective in helping me understand and unlock this knowledge.

As I Chaote, I feel it is my duty to answer your questions in a way that will terribly confuse you. Because if you want to know chaos magick, you need to get to know your confusion.

1.

Well to know how to do that, you have to figure out what energy is, and then how to use it. This is something you'll have to learn for yourself. Keep in mind that every system out there is just a road map describing the place you're trying to get to. Therefore, find a place that matches all the maps, and you'll find the answer.

2.

This is actually a place that you could actually benefit from reading lots of literature. Read anything you can get your grubby little paws on. Don't take any of them as gospel, just experiment. Find out what works. Most likely it'll be a mixture of a few things. Remember to properly maintain your BULLSHIT DETECTOR.

Once you feel you are familiar with the systems you've investigated, start trying to decode secret occult knowledge and ritual from comic books.

LOL thanks DrMummy, The answer to number 1 didn't confuse me to much, but answer 2 was a little wierd. But i like that, maybe one day i will just think about this post and it will just click and it will help in some glorious way. thanks again and yes, i've read a few of your posts on BS detector and completely agree with the maintenance work involved.
