I associated myself with the manticora long before I came across the idea that they represented pride and envy-and evil. Well, here I am still associating the creature with myself, gleefully so; however there is still some reticence in my mind to so blatantly expose my interests. I suppose you'll either take it seriously or you won't, and I'll just have to settle for that. I hope that I'll be taken seriously in time, certainly you should be able to take seriously the idea of a person being prideful and envious-and evil. Please, don't be confused when I am amicable, isn't the want of compatriots a selfish desire? Certainly, those prophets of old only took council in their God, and no offense to anybody that associates with that great bastard, but that doesn't seem like a very compelling situation to be in. Not that I have anything to do with him myself, nor has he with me. I am well within the comfortable embrace of another god, one generally bereft of worshipers due to his very nature-that of being the god of entropy, the "needful antagonist" that spurs mankind to action and creative growth. It's not Satan or any of his cohort, however, he is very close in appearance and method to the Leviathan, though lives deep in the underworld rather than upon the waters. I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out if you're smart and informed enough. I have been fortunate, and well blessed in my service. In fact, my academic research rides upon the back of his majesty and potency.
Hm. That was nice to get out in the open. I have to bundle this sort of thing up so that I can keep my job and what friends I have locally. I'm told it isn't wise to keep anything bottled up for too long.
