Satanic discretion
Satanic discretion
Satanism is wonderful, and the use of Satanic magic is a benefit we Satanists enjoy. It is important to keep things in perspective, and make sure you seek what you truly desire, instead of performing an 'experiment" or saying "I"ll give this a try and see what happens." Don't get me wrong---trying new things is a vital part of magical growth---but one must be confident and willful and desirous, and these are not lent to experimentation.I confess,as part of my magical growth,I experienced the process of non-chalantly wanting a thing to happen, performing a ritual, and then being amazed that it worked and not dealing with the sudden reality of my wishes properly. In other words,be careful what you wish for,and make sure you want it and are ready for it.Lots of talk has been about how to perform a ritual. Not so much about how to deal with the success of altering your reality.Use magic, and have faith in Satan, yes that's right faith---the belief in things unseen---damn christians don't own the word ! Mostly,be sincere and ready to receive results. And remember to be specific. The story of the monkey's paw tells us that when unspecific, magical results can bear a heavy price. So,be confident, ready, and faithful---and the blessing of Satan shall be yours !!!!
Satanic discretion
Well said. Indeed the most important rule of magick is to know what yr intent is. Then it is perhaps best to either meditate on this intent for awhile before putting it into launchmode (so to speak) or to do a Divination (tarot, runes, I-Ching (astrology is not suited for this type of divination)), I have heard of others who Scry before a ritual, to see if they will achieve the best results with as little reprecussion. Using the divination is in no means the "final say" in the matter. Even if you have a negative spread in yr Tarot, it is up to you to decide if you should carry on with ritual or not. At least with this practice you will have a glimpse at what course yr magick will take. Be sure to ask "What will be the outcome if I perform a ritual for...." never ask "Should i cast magick for..." as that would be making the cards responsible for the outcome of yr rituals, which is wrong and will give you very little satifactory results.
