I was just going to echo what Nahemah has already said. What I said was not directed at you on a personal level at all.. I just think that western occultism in general should stop treating all entities as if they are purely created by the human mind. Some undoubtedly are, and whether they stay/exist purely within that or grow to become 'other' and act outside of us is a valid area to investigate. But it should be done so with the caveat in mind that, sometimes, you might come up against a purely external entity, for safety and proper investigations sake.

I personally think thats a problem with modern western occult - african traditional religions, and other occult teachings, including our own old grimoires, treat many of these spirits as real and external and stress that to the utmost importance. Therefore I think there is a real problem when these beings are shoehorned into being tulpa. I think this could be a potentially fatal mistake.

Tulpa I think as a concept as best applied to uplifting other spirits, familiar creation etc, and personal guiding spirits, rather than trying to explain ancient gods like Helios or something as being purely mind byproducts..

Just my two cence. As Nahemah said.. we are all sharing many things on the forum.. im actually going through several familiar creation / familiar housing processes at the moment.. if it works, I would love to pm you and share in this thread what I am able, as I think it might be beneficial to your tulpa investigation.

Whilst creating a doll body for my familiar is probably on a tangent, I have worked with two other doll bodies to try and activate their spirit, through both my own mind, and external forces, and through their physical force and low magic raise their awareness and level of mind and soul so they can act as guarding and companion spirits. This is an ongoing process at the moment, and the reinforcing them with visualisation etc could be ascribed as being similar to Tulpa creation.

I'm back, sorry for running away...

1. Yeah, in case you haven't noticed, I can't take criticism to save my life. Sometimes I literally start crying. CURSE YOU HORMONES! *shakes fist at sky* But yes, I realize that's entirely my fault and you've all done nothing wrong. Sorry for overreacting.

2. Part of my reluctance to share is the issue of evidence, an issue which has been made even worse by the fact that Krista, the person who gave us the floating sock pictures, recently quit the group. At the risk of sounding either gullible or troll-like, she claims she was being tortured in her dreams by some sort of entity and that the injuries it caused were carried over to the physical world. However, she wouldn't let us help her as apparently she LIKED it [eek] and ended up falling in love with her "Master". This culminated in her cutting all contact with us, including deleting her Skype and Facebook accounts. Obviously, we have no way of knowing if any of this is true (how do you prove an injury was caused by a dream and not self-inflicted?), so it's entirely possible she just wanted an excuse to quit. Like I said, she was never particularly "stable"... What this means, though, is that until one of our other three test subjects consistently demonstrates a provable ability, we have no way of providing any solid evidence to back up our theory.

That said, for anyone who cares, here's some non-solid evidence. I left this out the first time as it's a bit too close to "easily faked" territory.

Yes, we got all these from Krista. Yes, we have considered the fact that Krista may have been trolling us. Trust me, we're more than ready to toss all of this the moment we have evidence of deceit, but for now it's all we have to work with. Luckily, one of our newer subjects seems promising, and he not only has a means of recording but also lives within driving distance of Ian. No more having to rely on self-reporting! [yay]

3. WARNING, THE FOLLOWING MAY SOUND PAINFULLY NOOB-ISH, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. Our heavy use of thoughtforms as a base for our work stems from (in addition to our having started with that) our current theory that all of reality is a mindscape formed and controlled by the collective conscious, unconscious, and will of all living beings. In that case, technically everything can be thought of in thoughtform terms (for instance, the by now cliche assumption that gods are egregores). Of course we acknowledge that that does not mean that all supernatural entities are "all in our head," and we have been thoroughly investigating the existence of things such as ghosts, deities, other worlds, and the like. We've seen enough to to know that such entities are, if not initially external, capable of becoming so. All that said, if you feel we're taking a dangerous road, feel free to scream at us and smack us over the head until we listen. Again, I am WELL aware that you all have much more experience in these matters. [thumbup]

I'm so glad your back! I get the feeling that your working on your sensitive side.

I'm sorry about your test subject Krista but on the bright side you do have another test subject who is willing to work with you.

As for external entities I believe that they surely aren't JUST thought forms although they do come in our thoughts and dreams. I've experienced seeing a ghost which the housekeeper had seen a couple weeks prior and she described the same ghost I had seen.
Not only ghost but an experience with ouija which the entity spoke through a broken unplugged radio and other phenomena happening, in conclusion of the board we had broken returning to us which the way it was exposed of being impossible for someone to return. Just my clarifying on external entities.

I'm very interested in your work, especially about mindshards. I didn't know a tulpa and a mindshard were different things but your research has helped me to tell the difference.
