Gaining power to bond + pact

How can I start with it and how will I know I have gained enough much power to make the pact with one of demons? Also can I make a pact with more than 1 demon? What can I sacrifice, how can I know what do they want from me? I get signals from astral side in varied ways but I start to understand after a while and for me it isn't easy to read (the most often I know that I have got a message after something happened in a negative way)
