When i was in my late teens, had just started training and experiencing the benefits.....the spiritual path became priority 1. Now....many years later....as i am getting older.....spiritual training is still very important to me....yet i am seeing it in a wider perspective and put it behind many other parts of my life.

I've taken on the view....based on all my Gnosis so far....that there is an "eternity" ahead of me.....and there's no need to jam my foot on the gas everyday. Relax and do a bit of training daily.....and thus grow a bit at a time.....drop the nukes....and chill.

Training is great....but life is also meant to be enjoyed.....so tone down the Asceticism and flow on.
I was thinking a bit more about youth and the different phases of Ideas/Goals for the path. When I first started training, I saw many of my contemporaries pursuing Enlightenment, yet I was interested in training as a Healer....and did so assiduously. After many years and swallowing a couple of life's "bitter pills", I no longer wished to heal professionally.

From then on I focused on Occult Exploration and just wanted to spend the rest of my life doing the Occultist-Scientist path....tinkering with energy and learning about the mechanics of reality.

Nowadays.....I have slowed down a bit and developed a fascination with Wheel Sorcery and Finances.

All of these phases are still a part of me.....but I guess I am writing this to reflect on how our ideologies, mentors and culture can influence are way of thinking how one's spiritual life "should be". At any moment, its of value to sit down and reflect on what "path" were pursuing....and why were pursuing it....I don't regret any of the previous paths....but it's worth considering the potentially wider phases of training. Time and Life Experience.....its an inevitable shifter....being flexible and adaptive is key.
I want to start as a healer. Urgently. Within a month. Can you please give me pointers @Wildwolf
Chunyi Lin (Spring Forest Qigong) teaches healing, does workshops and retreats. Basic exercise in the video below to help build internal qi.

I also mentioned some archetypes that enjoy teaching healing in a previous post (below). Learning via offerings is powerful.

Corrupt Metaphysical Systems Pt2

Lately, I've been thinking about Hollywood and how it conveys old pagan systems of spirituality through movies. In Troy (2004) with Brad Pitt as Achilles.....the character is conveyed as someone whom does not take the gods seriously and almost a borderline atheist. I am currently working my way through the Illiad....the text is a masterpiece....but what I noticed is how completely reversed, Achilles is portrayed. All the characters in the poem are deeply devout, revere the gods and talk of making sacrifices to the Gods constantly in order to secure there favor. Additionally, the movie only shows the battle between Troy and the Greeks, meanwhile half the book is dialogue between gGds, there constant scheming and "intervention". When you read the original text.....you gotta wonder what the hell Hollywood was thinking?

Another is Immortals (2011), a movie about war between rival mortal factions, Titans and an oath of neutrality or "non-intervention" by the Gods. Not a particularly good movie....but what stuck out to me most, was the idea of "non-intervention"....as this is a theme I've seen projected onto spiritual systems in many Hollywood movies. Constantine (2005), is another example of a "non-intervention" pact theme in the plot. Contrarily, in the Illiad....gods are right there next to mortal men, influencing affairs, mating with mortal women/men (Zeus is notorious) and favoring there sons and daughters above all. Anyways....I meditated on this awhile and concluded.....that imputing these false themes into spiritual systems through movies.....is a power move by the corrupt. It is a power move to control/influence how people relate to spirit, gods and the ethereal realms. If you can dominate and manipulate how people relate to the subtle forces of reality.....dark powers can manipulate culture and many other things to there advantage.

Alas, the main point I'm making....is be careful of spiritual paradigms shoehorned into your psyche, which are not based on Gnosis. Hollywood in general is not your friend and reading traditional mythology (Greek, Norse...etc) is 10x better than the filth belched out in modern cinema. Cheers.
