( "bows" are like one would do towards a monarch. In this ritual, it is bending at the knees, then at the waist, eyes open )
( if one were to go to tradtional Jewish temple they would see this in action. The old ways have been preserved. עם ישראל חי )
Zohar Parsha Pinchas:
...this makes a total of twelve bows and standings upright, respectively. And they contain 72 עַיְינִין. The six bows contain eighteen movements, three in each bow, for one has to bend the head, the back, and the tail, the eighteen vertebrae amount to 72. And these 72 עַיְינִין of the Holy One, בְּרִיךְ הוּא, illuminated the 72 wings of the shechinah that rises up over them and is called 'standing,' For,
initially, was a state of prostration, and has to be raised up through the Name יְדֹוָד, through eighteen worlds, and through the
four standings [plural] upright in six blessings, which is Tiferet, that includes the first three blessings and the last three blessings.
What are these eighteen worlds? What are these bowings? They are the bowing during the standing prayer, the shemoneh esrai, the 18 benedictions, a very holy ritual. This ritual ends with the prayer for peace, a beautifully kabalistic prayer recited by many thousands 3 times daily. The bowing initially is a a state of prostration, and then it rises. The shechinah was brought down layer after layer, level to level ... and now, through this ritual, she is being lifted up. But how?
In the Zohar passage above, the 4 which are "standing" which are defined in the passage above the as shechinah, are actually 4 shechinahs. There is not just one. The "standing ones" are the description of the angels in Ezekiel's famous vision of the divine chariot, the mercavah. The 4 shechinahs are of the 4 realms: Assiyah, Yetzirah, Beriyah, Aztilut. These 4 are in the 6 which are tiferet. That is literally what is in the Zohar. The shechinahs are being packaged up in a chariot, which is tiferet, as I've shown in earlier posts in this thread.
4 shechinahs in the 6 "blessings"= 24.
The divine name as it is written here is not as it is conventionally written, it is yud-dalet-vav-dalet = 24.
It just so happens that the kabalisitic prayer for peace is precisely 48 letters.
48 is 24 above, 24 below, simultaneously.
As it is below, so it is above.
A chariot is being constructed/crafted below, a corresponding chariot is constructed/crafted above.
Coincidence?
The ritual begins the same way, every time:
3 steps back, 3 steps forward, bow. = 7.
The 6 directions + prostration-then-acenscion, which is: like a catapult,
as it is in the Zohar passage,
"initially there is prostration", that's the wind-up.
"Then it rises", that's the pitch.
It's leaping, or skipping.
The ritual ends the same way, every time:
3 steps back, 3 steps forward, but this time, it's a little different.
At the end, there's 3 bows.
And during those bows, the kabalisitc prayer is recited.
left, right, center, then standing at attention rigid with eyes wide open
( I have broken these out these four phrases in the english below )
( " to the one who makes peace above" { simultaneously bowing left, then rising at the end of the phrase, eyes are open the whole time } )
( " make peace for us below " { simultaneously bowing to the right, then rising at the end of the phrase, eyes are open the whole time } )
( " and towards all of Israel " { simultaneously bowing to the center, then rising at the end of the phrase, eyes are open the whole time } )
( " and we say Amein " { Standing at full attention, rigid, eyes are still wide open. It's OK to blink BTW } )
all together now:
stand-up, face east
3 steps back, 3 steps forward, 1 bow = 7
{ it's OK to insert a personal prayer here while standing, traditionally there are 18 of them, 18 = Chai, Life }
3 steps back, 3 steps, forward, 3 bows that = 9.
9 is Emet, truth, the seal of eternity.
Included in this eternal seal is the kabalistic prayer for peace 48 letters.
It is a very holy ritual.
The ritual begins with an acension, 7, which is a gate. It's the begining of the transmission signal.
The ritual ends with 9 an eternal seal. But included in that seal is this amazing prayer.
Let's add it all up:
7+ 9 + 48 = 64. What is 64? 32 below, 32 above, simultaneously. 32 = Lamed+Vet, Leiv, the heart. The heart below, and the heart above simultaneously is being inspired. Inspired for what? For PEACE. This is Kabbalah at it's finest.
What is being Inspired below is automatically being inspired above simultaneously.
As it is below so it is above. It is the foundation for all ritual since the dawn of creation.
Are these coincidences? Or did the ones who composed these rituals know a whole lot about these mystical pursuits?
The standing prayer is not recited loudly. No. It is just a whisper. Like Hannah is praying. It is recited as a community, simultaneously at the same time and at the same place by many many thousands daily. But! Each individual completes their prayers at their own pace and in their own way, it is the standing prayer, but it is known as the "silent amidah" The silent standing prayer. We have not acheived peace. Not until all are included above and below. And this can only occur if each individual is respected and permitted the opportunity, and this cannot be rushed. At this point in the ritual, everything stops. None enter the assembly and none may leave. None may stand directly in front of one another. It is a very holy, powerful, significant ritual, below-and-above. The service does not continue until each individual has finished, and sits. This sitting signals to the leader, the Chazan, to proceed. This is how it happens and would be seen in any tradtional temple, all around the world. After everyone sits, everyone rises together, figurativley and literally. The ritual is repeated, this time, out-loud in honor and for the benefit of those who are ... missing. ~big-sigh~
It is a most solemn, heart wrenching plea, because those of us who know the darkenss, and have descended, have the burden of knowing what it takes to produce a lasting peace.
Sacrifice. The brief glimpses of peace have only been pit-stops towards the next conflict. This post is written in honor of those who have fallen and paid the ultimate price for all of us.
Freedom isn't free.
to the One that makes peace above,
make peace upon us below,
and towards all of Israel,
and we say, Amein.
That ^^ is how the ritual is completed.
Not with a bang, but a whimper.
To the fallen and the missing:
Everyone here knows how to fight.
Everyone here knows how to cry.
...
It's a long way down
It's a long way down.
It's a long way back to the place
where we started from.
