Sigil divination

This is my first post here ever.
I've been using the tarot for a couple of years now, but despite this I still feel that getting correct or meaningful answers can be diabolicaly difficult. During the shuffling process, concentration can be very hard to maintain and I've yet to discover whether focusing intensenly on the query or trying to forget it altogether, as in many forms of magick, is most beneficial to the result. Usually, getting meanigful answers is easiest if I feel that I should somehow already know the answer, be it subconsiously or otherwise. Banishings prior to the reading can also help.
Now, to my point. I've come up with the idea of creating sigils, as in sigil magick, representing the question I've been meaning to ask and then visualising the sigil while shuffling, trying to keep my mind of the question itself. This technique seems to be quite effective, but I haven't had enough experience with it yet to be sure. I was wondering if anyone has tried something similiar and if it worked?
Help appreciated!
