I have read the dangers of ceremonial rituals and the bad outcomes of messing with spirits. However, I have never seen a thread on what people have gained from these interactions. I have seen individuals mention these briefly, but never in detail or in a large thread. So here it is. What have you gained from interaction from Spirits? Riches? Powers? Knowledge?

Any answer will do. However, has anyone ever asked a spirit for something? I know everyone will learn from these experiences, and you may find this shallow, but I want to know if anyone here has ever gotten anything material or something else in that area. You know what I mean.

I guess what I am asking is: Has anyone asked for any of the following or similar to the following:

Money
Magical Abilities
Love or influence over another
an attack against an enemy

These are simply a few of the things I mean, but it should give you an idea.

Note: I do not ask for these nor do I have an opinion on people asking for these. Just to make sure this is known before I get lectured.

I was under the impression that you did not understand the question. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I started this thread because on almost every description in the geotia it gievs examples of what the spirits can do for you. I was curious if anyone actually utilizes these powers.

I have summoned spirits and have recieved knowledge and strength. I have had better luck with Necronomic entities which assisted in ridding my territory of a couple drug dealers.

Ahh, I was assuming you had your own territory in the sense that gangs and drug dealers have territory, not to say that you are one of these people.

Here's an additional question. Can you give a spirit the charge of doing something to you or your body? Wouldn't that require your circle be opened and you be left vulnerable?

Garsh MaeveQ, you've gained some pretty odd things via ritual :shock:

To stay on topic (sorta) I've gained a bit-o-knowledge from spirits, though, I've never summoned one (though, I likely will in the nearish future). I plan on gaining more knowledge when I do...I'm more into it thus far for personal advancement...making myself a better person & all that. While spirits may not be able to hep in that aspect, the ceremony & ritual certainly will (if by just adding a bit more organization to my cluttered life).

True for me too. My life has changed unbelievably since I started on this path and my spiritual connection is the best it has ever been. My mental faculties, psychic ability, health etc have all improved. There have been challenges too, but what path does not have these.

Yes, you can get things, but life is swings and roundabouts. If you spend your money on one thing, then you cannot spend it on something else. Some of us do not see this path as a way of getting things, we see it as a connection to that which we long for and need: a link to the other. To develop on the path just to take from it is a slap in the face to magick. The abilities gained along the way are for your growth and as a blessing to others, they are not toys.

Some things we are told not to say by the unseen, so that is maybe why some will not appear to give you a complete answer. Also, people's experiences differ. You must walk your own path.

Lost my rather well-paid work.

Breakup with my girlfriend.

Lost a good, long time friend.

Also, I used to get laid massively with girls, but now almost never. Instead a lot of guys want me.
