I haven't so far managed to choose to etherically travel, but I was looking through the dream threads and I remembered something from along time ago that I would like input on.

Back in 1999, I was with a girl who I loved very much, her totem animal is the Pheonix and mine is the dragon. One night I was holding her, I closed my eyes and started to drift, next thing, I am in what can only be described as a Temple.
It seemed basically Roman, but not, The walls were white marble, there where four pillars at the four corners, in the front center of the temple there was a whole in the cieling where sun shone down onto a well water and roses. Then I heard a womans voice, that was very commanding. She addressed me as if she knew me, like we had meet before... I cant say that I felt like she liked me, but she sounded indignant, seh said "What are YOU doing here?" and then I replied, but I cant remember what I said, but I do remember this feeling of being physically shoved back, and the shock of being back in my body.
So the question is, does anywhere have any idea where I went? Even who the goddess was?

well the temple seems a mix of several the marble has to be greek or roman, yet the hole in the ceiling is classic egyptian design. well of water and roses? well floral offerings were common in egypt and the offerings were regularly purified by water from the sacred well or lake. i think it seems mostly egyptian. ah the shoved back bit, its highly posible you were standing in the inner sanctuary and only the top priests could ever enter, im assuming youre not versed in egyptian theurgy, and a goddess of that nature could well be Sakhmet the lioness goddess. rather than a personal attack its just being in that room was out of place. well in all a guess is that your were in the inner sanctuary of a temple of Sakhmet one exists and im cant remember where, i think it could have been somewhere in Memphis or Karnak.
