I am unsure if this is the best forum for this but I will go ahead.
I am sure many of you are familier with Robert Bruce's NEW method. It has twicked my interest so I have decided to give it a try. I am old hat at moving energy mainly from the middle pillar ritual familer to CM's so the early exercies outlined are no problem. But later in his program he outlines activating chakras. I use the middle pillar ritual daily and am wondering how using a program of both will interact? Any ideas?

Continue with the Middle Pillar like normal, but because you are working around three of the other Chakra (and then adding one) you may wanna add extra effort to the three missing in the CM ritual while doing your chakra work.
Alternitively you could likely expand the MP to encompus the missing Chakra as well...you'd have to find new corrisponding god names though.
There are a few sites that do comparisons, but ummmm...they don't match up IMHO...

Personally, I've incorperated I AM's Solar Ritual with the Chakra paths pulling in the energies to each chakra as I go along. Then again, I've not really gotten into the MP all that much, so my advice is a bit skewed.
Regardless though, it's a matter of balance. If you see that using the MP is "opening" the Chakra that match then you should put more effort into the missing ones along that path, and while doing your Chakra work place less effort into the ones that do cross over.

Well the question then becomes is an activated sphere the same as an activated chakra? I don't think they are.

They coincide with each other. For them not to be the same then you'll be opening two centers in the same place.
Though, yeah, I kinda see what you mean. For the Chakra there are several points (72?) that are not really part of the main 7. I know little to nothing about them...so maybe the MP calls on one of them.
Comparing the two how do they match up? As in do the Throat & Daath have similar/same aspects? If that is the case I think they very well may match...but then, this is from the armchair as I've really not worked with the Middle Pillar all that much.

I've never worked with the MP but NEW is an interesting and potent system in my experience. I can't say how they'll mix but I do hope you'll keep us updated.

Never had anything bad when I practiced with chakra magick. In fact, energy work is one of the few things that I am actually -good- at in the occult field. One opening per day of all my spinal chakras keeps me in a good mood and feeling ready for anything.
I wouldn't see why working with two alike rituals would do anything but boost this feeling.
BTW - is this new ritual you speak of simply to add another chakra? It's already been stated there are numerous human chakras so I don't need to elaborate by saying... if you can visualize more of them open go for it. I usually stick to the original 7.

It's all subjetive, in my opinion. There's no reason to believe that either the chakras or the sephiroth actually exist within the body. At least not independent of your imagination. If you think the two systems would blend well, then they probably will; if you think they wouldn't, maybe you should simply avoid it.
