Last night I was lying in bed listening to some Hendrix on my mp3 player. As I was waiting for my gf to text me, I didn't really want to go to sleep, so I figured what the hell, I'd try some meditation.

I closed my eyes and concentrated on my breathing. At this stage I became quite relaxed, listening to " The Buring Of The Midnight Lamp" and my breathing got slower and slower. I don't know why, but I decided to open my crown chakra - on a whim more than anything else. I visualised an intensely bright disc of spinning energy at the top of my head for about 30 seconds and then my entire body was suddenly filled with this wonderful warmth! Every limb was tingling! It was such a nice feeling

Feeling like something was finally going on for once, i then directed my attention to my third-eye. I visualised again a glowing disc of energy, but this time smaller than my crown chakra. I must've kept this up for about 2 mins when the spinning that i was visualising suddenly engulfed my body. It's hard to explain , one moment i was imagining this spinning then the next ,my vision ( remember my eyes are closed) is filled with this giant rotating disc. It was black and spinning quickly in a clockwise direction and was similar to a disc but it had bits missing - exactly like a lotus flower.

This went on for another couple of minutes and I felt like I was almost falling down a great height. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it did feel quite odd.

Alas, "the Killing Floor" came on my Mp3 player and it was so loud that I got up to turn it off. As I did so, everything returned to normal.

This is the first time that something actually"happened" and I know for certain that I wasn't asleep or dreaming. I apologise for the laborious retelling of this and for hogging precious bandwidth/server space, but I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions or comments.

somehow your giving me a mental image of a giant clock with a black backround, the clock is huge and is on its back, and is slowly standing up ticking away, the numbers on it are gold, maybe you could have increased the speed at which your mind perceives thoughts, make it go faster, (or make the clock go faster) which would therefore slow time down for yah, try it again, and think of a clock this time, and its a huge clock, like a pocket watch to a ant. ok, well half the size of that. try it again.

:twisted: Sounds like you were on the verge of a projection. I've tried the spinning technique in my dreams to produce a projection but have had no luck with it except a vague feeling that I was about to project. Well keep going with that and you'll probably project. :twisted:
