i had this problem too...just keep practicing...you should feel pressure like magnets repelling each other...although some people feel the opposite and they feel their hands being pulled together...also you may feel a "tingling" sensation in your hands...

Supposedly YOU should be able to see them - maybe not other people, but YOU should. Try releasing it to do something - like bounce around the room and then bringing it back - if you can get it to do this and still feel a sensation, or still see it the same way, then it's probably real. A lot of times you can "see" soemthing, and "see" it do stuff, but when you bring it back to how it originally was, it'll be different - different spot, color, etc.
I dont know though - there used to be a really good thread going about psi-balls
