Bio-Ether

Rin:I remember last year I was on my way to work, walking through a particularly crowded piece of outdoor mall. I was listening to music and meditating in a sense and, as a result, entered a trance state. In that state, when I regarded people, I seemed to see past their flesh and their terrestrial tissues. What I saw there was a shimmering system of energy made up of conduits.
It was like a blood and nervous system fused into a single system. A body of light. It was wonderful to see people in this way, because it reminded me that as humans, we are a transcendant species - we just don't realize it. My current avatar is an example of what I saw, below is an enlarged version.

Chaotic: This energy system is registered and accepted in many beliefs but i think that the one it is most clearly saught after is in chinese and japanese philosophy. This is so as they hold the belief (and we now know as scientific fact) that there are in fact energy lines running through our bodies known as meridians. This is the principle that accupuncture and similar tactile chinese or japanese systems work on. It is a most fascinating and powerful area to explore and discover how manipulating an area on your ear can effect things such as your testicles or digestion.

Rin: When one observes these conduits, it really does make sense why massaging specific parts of the feet or hands can affect other parts of the bodies. The bioetheric conduits are quite clearly defined.
Stimulation of one end of a conduit causes stimulation of the other end; causing additional bio-ether to flow between the two points.

ie ... one could harness this energy to effect the physical world.

Rin: It can, and has been. It is said that a good punch is 10% force, and 90% chi. Chi (life-force) is another term for bio-ether. Bio-ether is a very specific modulation of energy. It is just that: biological. It is responsible for, and conducive to all organic life. Which is why there's so much of it on Gaea.

i've been able to open a subspace link(for lack of a better term) to what i've labled as the univeral life stream, and have been able to draw unlimited energy from it.

Blashyrkh:I'v felt this energy,in meditation on the lower abdomine i once supprising felt something the size of a pearl move up frmy the left side of me that traveled seeminly in a tube up the left part of my neck over the left part of my head and then sudden my mind lit up from darkness to skyblue swirlingness,that was fairly profound,i'v felt numerous energy sensations sense then but i haven't had the same distinct and profound movement of energy,more electrical

curious bioetheric field emmanating
from my own body. While in this
field I felt as though I no longer
had a physical body - that I 'was'
the field itself. I also 'heard'
(mentally) a continuous pure sound,
like the ring of a bell stretching
out over several minutes.
This field resonated with every other
form of life and energy around it,
and which passed through it. It was
very large and intense. My awareness
of this field subsided after a time,
leaving me feel refreshed and
clear-headed. I would love to
experience this sensation again,
however, I am not sure how to induce
it.

Orko:The force of a good punch is 90% from chi? sorry gonna have to disagree with that one. sure the physics of punching has been broken down pretty well to dispute this lol. i think they have something to do with these mystical forces for mass and velocity etc

In order to drain from an external source of energy I need either a physical object or a psychic construct to lock onto, where is the target located for this type of energy sourcing? I am guessing you need a target PLUS a phased shield to lock onto for this one? Sounds complicated, how do you do it?
Hmm interesting, another manifestation of what I see as the aura field then, I am guessing? I only see higher order psionic energy at present so I don't see the tendrils you talk about but sometimes I can feel them.

I think the idea that Rin was going for was not the literal "10% physical/90% chi" for a punch....obviously when you hit a person, you're 100% physically punching them following the laws of physics....however, the power behind the punch, I think, is more what the "10%/90%" refers to...ever read about people who have done amazing feats while in trancelike stages...Martial artists who can break bricks, bend steel rods, any of those feats that take training and concentration...or perhaps those people who, in a flash of rage, lift cars or helicopters....Its like the concept of mind over matter....I mean, isn't that one of the main principles of most forms of martial arts....?

my words, masters actually inform their stu-
dents of this. So if guys who can punch their
fists through cinderblocks say this is so, then I
am inclined to believe them.
