Interesting that at the bottom of the pile is "people who think they're" something retarded. If I remember correctly, my ex thought he had been incarnated as BOTH Alexander the Great and Adolf Hitler. I mean, come the fuck on.

our "Schizopjrenix/Mystical Visionaries" are getting a bad rap this year, lol

so funny I had to save it to my computer.

Whoever did this, whether true or not on whatever level- gave it some kind of thought: and I respect that.

Although if you look closely, you'll notice that the bottom of the diagram's the same as the top of the diagram. So everyone's looking down on everyone else.

I do not look down on anyone in particular, yes I am less then impressed with some individuals, but I try to not put pepole into stereotypes to make me feel superior by looking down on them. I have better things to do with my time.

93,

The thing with a religion like wicca, you have the same validity as anyone else to make shit up and call it an older tradition than the other tradtitional traditions.

"Gardners take on it is modern wicca, my take is from even before! I am the traditionalist!"

Pretty much all facets of Earth Life have a Hierarchy. Though to be honest once you reach the spiritual levels of enlightenment and understand unconditional Love you do not look down on others unless they are of a destructive kind. I like to think of it as the Buddha path.
Also a bit off topic this problem with hierarchys is my chief arguement why socialism can never break out amongst the Proles. Every working class person has their own hierarchy of who they look up to and look down to thus Marx was wrong sadly.

Hmmm... 'All Other Satanists' may look down upon the Church of Satan?

If you had posted this in the Satanic Forums your thread would have received more bites. :D

There is a huge difference between looking down on somone and being above them in a hierarchy. Unless my English is all wrong, looking down on somone or some thing means that you think that person or thing is less worth, is worthless, idiotic, wrong, have less or no value and so on. Being higher in the hierarchy just mean you have authority. I think it is the same as with the mods on this forum, they are higher on the hierarchy of this forum than us regular posters but they do not look down on us, do not look at us as less worth. A slave trader is also in authority over his stock, but he also looks down on them. There is a difference.

Indigenous beliefs are the roots of almost all belief systems...pagan and otherwise.

Those who follow their root beliefs are not to be looked down upon. Even those who effectively 'fence' themselves in to a belief system they think will be approved...are not to be looked down upon. You can roll your eyes a tad...and encourage them to step out of their box and see what else is out there, but if they can't bring themselves to come out of their 'Safe' place, they are still not looked down upon. It is simply their choice.

I do not think anyone should be looked down upon. When we get so arrogant that we place our own ideas and beliefs above that of others then we are in effect lessening our self, making ourself somoneone to look down on. All we can do is try to be someone we can be proud of, someone witch make something out of our own belief systems and let others have their beliefs systems in peace with not scorn for those witch belive different than us. That is what I belive.

What a Great Gag-Chart!
I couldn't stop laughing!!!

...cause we all know that any, ANY semblance of pecking order goes right out the window, as soon as that Hot-Chick/Cute-Guy from that Fad-Trad walks in the room! Nothing buys followers like the "Rack & Package Sales Pitch"!

No one is apt to listen to a witch who has four stomachs.

Well, I admit part of it may be a bit idealistic...but I would hope that there are some folks who have been around long enough...not to look at good packaging while allowing their good senses to fly out the window....LOL.

Oh, the folly of Ideology!
NO ONE will fail to play lip service to the cute.
...but if they "score", they're a goner!~L~

I always thought "lip service" is not equal to "full service" :P
Anyway, I pushed away enough " cute" girls haha (Definitions of "cute" differ...thank the Gods - they were not "cute" in my book)

oh i dunno, if i met a talking cow I think it would have my rapt attention ;)

i thought it was a funny diagram :)

Ultimately I think "looking down" is a good way to fall from whatever heights you've reached.
And "looking up" is an outright sin in my ideology, whether they're cute or not.

kinda just leaves looking eye to eye... not a bad thing :)

I agree, save for the need to look up torwards the lifeforce that surrounds us. Maybe up torwards the sky when I decide to fly, but still your looking at me eye to eye. -Keld Ra

I definitely look down on most people who think they're *insert bizzare thing here.* Surprisingly I've had a number of those interested in me in my life.
