And it wasn't mocking so much as joking,perhaps you should find the definition of joke and mocking then learn how to destinguish between them instead of assuming.
Dual metal,you may find interesting reverse speech,I was looking at something about it earlier,how our subconcious affects our utterances,so that when played in reverse they say what is really on our mind,its really interesting.

It's curious he would use an apostrophe for a word that isn't contracted. And I find that humurous.

At first I thought it was a foreign word, but then at the end he said "Yes you can" and figured he threw in the apostrophe by mistake.

It's a nice proclamation at any rate. And I already believed I could do things, but it's nice encouragement. Like those posters you sometimes see in offices.

oh,you mean the ones that are like..you CAN do it,you know you can.
I see,lol,well i was always brought up around the basis of "incentive plan,work,or get fired".
So i dont know,i think appealing to people in the sense of positivity can sometimes be uneffective compared to my way,i guess it may seem a little draconian,but hey,it did me alot of good,i am taking English literature and language at a good university so...

But still, i didn't know the american education system taught people how to be pedantic.
