Hello from a Novice

Hello alls... or as I usually say on the phone and IM conversations "Lello Fish!"
If you can't tell, I'm a little bit new both to the forum and the occult in general. I've had an interest in teh occult since I was very young but never had much time to learn anything about it until a few years ago. I was just dabbling then but I have decided that it was time to take my dabbling up a step and actually learn what I'm doing.
As far as practicing goes I've learned the LBRP and Sigil work and have several books on natural magic and basic beginner stuff. I've sat in at a Goetic evocation as the scribe/recorder of things said since electronic recordings don't always work well in those situations I've discovered. I have a a gift of empathy that I am trying to learn to control/understand better.
I'm probably just going to lurk for a little while and gather what information I can from the site until I'm a little more comfortable with the community and what I know.
