Err, this time, it's about runes.

I'm planning to make rune stones (are they called rune stones? Stones with runes on them. o.o Sorry, I'm still a beginner), and something popped in my head:

is it possible to make my own 'rune alphabet'?

(If it is, is it legal? If not, why not?)

There are many more sites online with a wealth of information and lots of variety of methods and materials.

legal or illegal ? lol : ) you can make your own rune set and it is very legal (lol). u can use stones or wood.

you have to craft, so it's not very easy. you put something of yourself in it. Nahemah linked u very good website (sunnyway). I started learning about runes from it. However there are no very good definitions of each rune.

runesecrets.com is also very good website

There are many other websites about runes but they contain almost the same info =)
