The early Norse Eldar Futhark alphabet are more commonly seen on Rune sets in particular, and they have their own interpretations and meanings as to whether you cast your runes upright, or merkstave (or reversed) There is also the Germanic Anglo Saxon runes which differenciate from the Eldar Futhark but there are some similarities. Other alphabets that you might be interested in learning are Theban or more commonly classified as "The Witches Alphabet", Pictish, and Ogham alphabets which are symbolic to celts and scots. These might at least be some places to start.

Destinokim,
I love that word "must"
Traditions state one thing, the original language of the god/ess or guide......and, yet, why......do we really believe a demon (which are none), god (which are of man), etc, understand only latin? No...they understand intent
Magick, Spellcasting, all etcs between here and eternity can be falsified or venefied by only one......that who designs it.
If you know the original Norse well, for the rune, use it...if not, why mess up a perfectly good outcome with unknowns!
the greater strength is not in the words or group, but in the user who defines all there is in "self"
Just my view of reality
