What are some good tarot decks for beginners.

I ended up purchasing a Rider-Waite tarot deck! for 18 bucks, yeah for my local Occult store!

I learned on the Marseille deck,because that was what was available to me at the time.


I have these below,among my collection and these are the ones I use most.The Shakespearean Tarot,they are small as far as deck size goes,so easy for me to handle.I have wee hands,lol.

I started with Rider Waite too and grew attatched to the major arcana very quickly. I owned a Marseilles deck a while before I was really a practicing occultist, but its imagery didn't inspire me much.

My friend began with Rider-Waite, and she was delighted, but in one day she said this deck is too simple and it does not answer her questions deeply enough.

Do you think it's usual matter, or her individual feeling?

well, since it's all about one's personal relationship with the cards, maybe she should go searching for a new pack...
