Evoking Magot, Oriens, and Ariton

Anyone here have any book recommendations for evoking the spirits Magot ( or Magoth, Maguth), Oriens ( or Uriens), and Ariton ( or Egyn, Egin, or Arhreton)?
They are mentioned in the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage as being demon-subprinces, but no further information is available from that source. Apparently they are air spirits of some importance; Crowley's "777" mentions them. But I've found no information on what they do, what other spirits they control, and more importantly, how to summon and control them.
Thank you in advance for your serious replies. [gz]

I don't mean to sound boring or anything, but do you have any prior skill with evocation? Like ΙΟΛΗ7 said, do you really need these entities? I cannot stress this enough. Sorry if you do know what you are doing, it's just that I care and cannot stand idly by.

Thank you for the link. I don't know that I need them. I'm looking for a "workaround" for the requirements stipulated in the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage. 6 months of reading the book, plus another 6 months of devotional activities, all the while trying not to sin, seems like a lot of time invested in preparation. The Lesser Key of Solomon has evocations for some of the demons required, but not these.
Please don't misunderstand me; I really like Angel Magic. But a year of preparation to use the magical squares in the third book is a long time.
And, it's true, the more I learn about demons, the less I like the idea of dealing with them. It's entirely probable that I will never have anything more to do with them.
But knowing about demons is good. Because what you don't know, really CAN hurt you.

No, I don't have any prior experience with evocation. I've only worked with invoking angels up to this point. And, I don't plan on doing any evocations anytime soon. If ever.
Thank you. It's good to care. [gz]
Do I NEED them? I don't know. The Sacred Magic of Abramelin has some magical squares for financial increase, even living in luxury. But these are powered by these demons, along with others ( all under the direction and control of ones Guardian Angel).
Is it dangerous to use them? Absolutely. It may be too dangerous to even consider. But I need more information to make an informed choice.
Thank you for your reply.

I respect your needs. I'll just say this...the easy way is not always the safest way !! Try to understand that whatever you'll go after, that's what you'll get from life.
I'm not suggesting that you should follow the Angelic art...this is just my choise.Doesh't have to be yours also.I hope you'll do what's best for you.

I agree with you. You are right. And some mistakes cannot be undone.
I think I'm going to spend more time developing the Art that chose me ( Angel Magic), before I start exploring alternatives.
Some supposedly angelic magical systems don't seem to me to be very angelic, however. I just finished a book on Angel Magic that had a history of Dr. John Dee in it. I don't think those were angels encouraging him to wife-swap. And he ended his days very, very poor, selling his precious books for just enough money to buy food, after following so-called angelic advice which turned out to be very bad advice indeed.

The wife-swap thing was probably a trick of Kelley's. From what I know, Dr. Dee's wife was young and beautiful, while Kelley's was an older woman. So you can see what he was going for. If you have not already, you might want to read a topic of mine which is related to this (Enochian) subject:

However, don't think of the Enochian angels as bad. They're simply higher forces who are not to be played with. I'm not saying they're not to be worked with, though. Anyway, I advice that you focus on other angel stuff at least for a few years.

i'm sure you'll find your path...you just need time.Focus on your needs, study as hard as you can and everything will come naturally.Have you read any grimoires?
Never mind others...even if they're known all around the world. The art doesn't work the same for everyone.

The book that found me, a glowing book in the New Age section of Borders Bookstore that turned out to be "The Sacred Magic of the Angels", by David Goddard, is the one I use most. And in fact the only one I've felt good about invoking any angels with.
I've read the Greater and Lesser Keys of Solomon ( the S.L.MacGregor Mathers and Peterson versions), but not actually used them to perform ritual. I've read Carroll Poke Runyan's "Solomon's Magic", "The 22 Scales of the Black Serpent", the Grimorium Verum, and a number of others. But "The Sacred Magic of the Angels" is the only one I've actually used to invoke angels with.

I have invoked these.
Forgive me if I missed something not reading through the whole page, but I urgently went to post after your statement about a workaround on abra melins method. do not work around the method. the course outlined in the book is highly necessary in its details for all sorts of reasons. many things occur through this period. it should be done to the T. One such importance is that a successful invocation of these characters opens channels in your psyche, and the collective. even with serious dedication in the initiation, and my life practices being permanently changed, and constant maintenance, it is real work to deal with these guys. they use anything and everything to dismantle you. It is their job and they've been doing it for a long time. this is not a hobby.

I am highly interested in your experiences with these spirits as they are part of my own path also.
