My sister and i have seen this tall wipsy shadow figure, while all it's done is stare at me from outside the door at night, and fill me with anger, meanwhile, it's walked across the room and thrown stuff at her. She saw it last about a year ago and i saw it last about a month ago. But...since then I've been having strange dreams incorporating a cheshire like cat, no it doesn;t look like the cheshire cat, but it does act like it, with an eerie feel to them, as well as the feeling of not being alone..EVER...in an eerie yet soothing way. Now the anger didn;t feel directed at me or like it was going to hurt me. On a side note....is there a way to find out if you are truely an otherkin?

Beyond meditating and waiting around for your "Awakening" to start....can't say. Definitely meditate, though, if you are wanting to go towards it. And try to be patient with it.

All you can do is to see if you awaken. Meditate.
If it turns out that you are not otherkin, convince yourself otherwise. In time, you'll be considered otherkin if you wish. Why can't you be harboring the spirit of an animal? That sounds fantastic.
The mind creates reality, as reality is a projection of the mind.

If there is something spooky happening, it is a projection of either you or your sister. Look up a banishing ritual, or create one that makes sense to both you, and her. Perform the ritual once a week until its all over. Cleansing meditation is always a super-mega bonus too.
