Dear helpful occultists,

I tried doing pore breathing with elemental earth a few months ago. I only did it four or five times because I would get light aches all over my body. I would always expunge the earth from my body when I was done, so I never had a real problem with it. But today those aches came back after I thought about pore breathing for a few seconds. I didn't actually do the meditation (I think); I was just watching TV and all of a sudden I got those same mild aches again. It's not painful, just annoying.

How could this have happened just from me thinking about pore breathing for a few seconds while distracted by television? I did the LBPR and that made the aches go away, but they returned to my leg when I thought about the earth element in the shower! I did the LBRP again and I was alright I think. I'm getting a little bit of that aching feeling right now just by writing this post.

How can I stop this annoying aching thing? I must have done something wrong, so is there a way that I can make sure it never happens again?

This is a psychological effect I think. Your thoughts about that meditation are coupled to this ache I guess, same like the smell of spaghetti leads to saliva production or the thoughts about the girl you flirted with after 10 tequila last night lead to a shiver and a "Oh my god what did I do?" in the next morning.

It is not easy to get rid of such things. You have to get somehow rid of the feeling coupled to your thoughts about the meditation.
One trick which might help would be: Take 10 pages of paper and a pen and start writing: Pour breathing meditation is useless. Write all your pages full and when you write a sentences, repeat it loudly while you are writing. Try this every day a week through, I hope this helps because I guess that in this case you won´t come far with any invokation or rituals but by psychological "warfare".

I just realized that this aching started around the same time that I began doing a fourfold breath exercise in which I imagine my pores taking in normal air. I'll stop doing the exercise and see what happens. If this new exercise is the problem, would it be because (1) I have an unconscious problem with all pore breathing exercises or (2) I'm accidentally taking in Earth element? Is number 2 even possible when I do the LBRP every day?

Try to experiment a bit and eventually you should hit on the cause of the problem. Modify the exercise which is causing problems, perform it in different locations, different postures, different times of day, attempt other similar exercises and see if they also cause problems and keep a detailed record of your experiences. Eventually you should get a feel for what's going on. I had a very similar issue recently and while it took me a few weeks, I eventually landed on the cause and managed to get rid of it.
