I understand that the Angels, both fallen and in the hierarchy of the heavens, either hate or dislike humans, and for obvious reasons. I imagine there may be a few there love humans for their quirks and such, but this post is more in regards to angelic presence in general.
I make pages in my books, handwritten and drawn, like in the old days, and recently ventured into making two different dedications:
One to the Angel Lucifer, and one to the Archangel Michael. I know, I know, cliche.
lets get to the point though:
what is the best way to evocate and/or invocate these beings? give me some book suggestions if you'd please, and also tool suggestions, as I have very little experience with angels.

I have heard and read from several sources that the Enochian Angels are not well disposed to humans. But I have not worked with this system.

My personal ceremonial practice is centered on this area (outside of shamanism) but I invoke the Devas rather than the traditional angels. The reason for this is because I do not subscribe to Judeo-Christian or a Near Eastern belief system and so working with them under those masks seemed disjointed to me. Their presence is very moving and uplifting. If approached correctly, I do not think they dislike humans; it depends on your heart.

In using the almadel, it does not have to be the 'quality' of that used by this guy. What you put into it energetically is more important than how much you spend.
