Was just curious as to the reason. I can't offer a proper answer sadly but it might help if you defined what you think evil is, then people can recommend books on the subject.

I guess he is also up to the question what the others consider as evil, at least that is what I read out of his question and considering the nature of his other posts [crazy]
Well, the most evil book? I don't know if one could consider it as the most evil one, but it is defintily dark and full with evil deeds: Rape, murder, cannibalism, etc.
Let me introduce you to:
The Complete Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm

Okay, evil might not be the right word. Looking at a textbook translation of it.
But you know, something worse then the Lesser keys, Malleus Maleficarum, The Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses,
Something darker, something more sinister, something, perverse, evil, malevolent, apocalyptic fucking horror.
Evil spirits are bad, demons are worse, the devil is worst, what is after him? What's even more dangerous, extreme, pure terror, world-threatening, darkest pit of human imagination possible.

If we get to mention fictional book my first choice would be the bible.

Pain/torture, suffering, death, emotional abuse, insanity, some sort of fucked up soul rape? Who knows, they all sound pretty shit to me.. You can make it as sinister as your brain will allow you to conceive, if there is something worse outside that I won't be able to conceive of it until/unless my existence transcends my current limitations or I experience it.

Okay, books that helps one with that then.?
Best book on making the reader into a complete psychopath and beyond? Something to not summon demons but that makes one a demon. And worse.

Technically, the book responsibly for the most murders on earth is 'the communist manifesto'. Closely followed by the bible.
Although christians have probably killed more then communist if one choose to count all the Native Americans who died of diseases. BUT I can't really say that that sort of behavior is specifically biblical or christian. It's more of a coincidence.

Id honestly go with something like mein kampf, or something along those lines.
Nothing is worse than a book and teachings which can galvanise men to want to exterminate a whole class of people based on twisted racial logic.
Human ignorance and suppression of the spirit is in my mind the biggest evil.. Worse than anything that sits in wait within amenta.

I don't really think there is a beyond, you're talking about the conceptual edge of human disposition, it's just variations on a theme now. Unfortunately I don't know you well enough to be able to recommend the most effective book for you, sounds like you're already pretty well versed in the shittest of human experiences I'm aware of. ^.^

A lot of people say Picatrix gets pretty grisly in spots? Perhaps not necessary 'evil' per say but it apparently shocks modern magical sensibilities for a lot of people.

The darkest thing I've found so far seems to be the Aghori from india. Probably the mot extreme form of magic I've seen.

Amazon apparently does have it in English and it was only in maybe the past 10 or 20 years that it was released. I can't remember who the translator was though, just that Poke Runyon had a Hermetic Hour on it.

I vote Bible as well.
In my world, lucifer was just trying to free us from being pets. Or according to ancient sumerians he was trying to free us from being just a slave race. Personally after reading a lot of religious texts I still have to say the bible is the most evil book in existence. It has caused more death and destruction than anything else has in human history.
Also, if there is a way to turn into a daemon, I want info. If anyone can give me immortality, let me know.

For a different perspective, I offer you two modern works of fiction:
Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy
Not only is this book terrifying and disturbing, it's also beautifully written. The fact that it's based on historical events in the USA makes it that much more gut-wrenching. It makes the brain wheels crank, and the heart strings shudder.
American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis
This book is brutal.

The Quran is not that bad actually. I have the latest most accurate translation of it and it's really not that violent. Some parts of it actually makes sense.
Women have a lot more rights in the quran then they have in the bible.
BUT! Just like christianity. Most people who claim to be muslims, have never read the quran. (Most christians, have never read the bible).
The communist manifesto still wins. With about 20 million people murdered. And that count is still ticking.

Codex Seraphinianus. I'm very fortunate to own a copy. It takes a bit of translating, but I promise you the contents are pure evil.
