I've been perusing this forum somewhat regularly for the past couple years and have gleaned a lot of insight from numerous members and posts, so I chose to take the next step and make an account so I can respond, share information, ask questions, express my gratitiude, and get involved. I'm looking forward to it.
I have numerous interests, so briefly, I'll name the things that I'm most interested in and have some experience and knowledge of, which include: Astrology, herbalism, witchcraft, Hermeticism, linguistics and semiotics, psychology, and magick. I look forward to learning from everyone here, and as well, hope that I can share some valuable insights and information.
Thanks for being here.

Aah, a fellow linguist. Welcome! I would enjoy discussing linguistics with you, especially advanced linguistics and even, possibly, the value of using linguistic knowledge in our pursuit of "Occult Means."

Hi there manonthepath. I mentioned linguistics because it is something that, in comparison to many people I've talked with, I happen to be more knowledgable about aspects of it and could contribute to conversations. However, on that note, I don't consider my linguistic knowledge to be advanced, by any means, though I do think we could have some great discussion in regard to linguistics and its occult possibilities and implications. Where do your interests lie?

Well, my interests are quite varied, but presently I'm engaged in exploring the power of audio resonances and the dynamic of their influences on the transmutation of energy into matter. Specifically the use of ancient language models of word/phoneme combinations. I've only just begun working with Hebrew, but have been experimenting with Chinese for a number of years. My research has involved models of conception and context building as well as roots of sound/concept relationships and on techniques of mapping and evaluating results. In a few years I plan to include a variant of the "Rife Machine" in an attempt to quantify some of my findings, but it will be a few years before my practice will generate the funding for my GB4000 unit.

That sounds incredibly interesting. This is my first time hearing about the Rife Machine; I researched it a bit, and whether for healing, vibration experimentation, or otherwise, it seems full of potential. What was your reason for choosing Chinese as a language for experimentation? And do you have any results you're willing (or able, in terms of relevance) to share that you've found particularly useful or interesting?
My current (and only thorough) project involves a gradual deconstruction of the English language, through creation of a substitute English script, substitute phonetic sounds, alteration of syntax, deliberate filling of English words with unrelated meaning, assimilation of sign language, as well as learning of other languages (Hebrew and Swedish, currently), and whatever else may strike me as I move through the process. All of this I wish to work through for the express purpose of integrating a deepening consciousness of the relativity of language, and to use that consciousness for deeper self-transformation within occult study and magical practice, as well as to influence and persuade others.
