Okay so I have seen that you have to make sure you do your evocations properly and be a bit (or maybe ALOT actually) careful with ritual work because it can cause insanity and death [eek] which I obviously want to avoid.. So I thought I should post on here what I am thinking of beginning with, and if you have suggestions on changes or stuff I can add in/remove, that would be appreciated because I want to make sure I can be careful and also bring about the best effects in my ritual work when I begin.

Okay so first, I cast the magic circle on the ground, I light the two candles beside my scrying mirror which sits on a desk that I decided to use for anything magickal.. I put myself into a meditative state, then I visualize white light entering the room to protect myself and clear any negative energy.. After that, I gaze at the sigil in front of the scrying mirror for a while until it starts changing colour and stuff like that and while I do that, I do my incantations of intent and invite whatever spirit I want to communicate with to show itself in the mirror. When it shows itself, I ask my questions and yada yada yada, then when I'm done, I thank it for coming and give it license to depart.

Who has been telling you ritual can lead to insanity and death? Maybe if you had underlying mental issues and intense subconscious fear relating to occultism, but obviously that is not the case. Your ritual, however, does seem complex enough to correct for these beliefs.

I just seen it posted around in this sub-forum.. I was a bit skeptical when I seen that haha

Will you just imagine the circle being there or will you actually draw it?
What about protective talismans and amulets?
What cleaning and clearing are you doing before you start the ritual and what are you doing afterward.

I am going to be actually drawing the magic circle.. I am new to this, so drawing it should probably help me a bit more.. I know more experienced practitioners can actually make it work with imagining a circle but I'm not really experienced. Protective talismans and amulets... I really don't know how to make those kinds of things, I'll probably search around on this forum and around the internet to see how to do that... as for clearing and all that stuff before and after ritual, I prefer to meditate and imagine white light entering the room (maybe also call on guardian angels, protective entities), the bornless ritual also might be an option.. I don't have alot of items and I can't exactly follow grimoires word for word (getting animal blood, skins, expensive materials), so I need to simplify, and add and remove some things.. I really would like to do evocations but some of the materials needed are so hard to get!

Why do you feel you need materials?

Yeah.
It sounds like this might be a bit to early for you to do something like this.
I would take some time and really think it through.
