I had a dream about a mysterious entity that had tentacles? Could it be this egregore? I DO NOT know its name and therefore believe it to be just a mundane creepy dream. However the concern / fear is still there.

Would drawing it in a way of worship be or offering and or altar making cause something to happen?
Could something happen if you do not want anything to happen? Such as asking these questions and or just thinking about it a lot and or being scared at all?

Is one connected forever after the gates are open?

Is there ways to severe the connection and possibly permanently forget to name so that gates cannot open ever again and there is no contact with the egregore / thoughtform ever again?

Could playing a protection prayer and or spell and or chant and or incantion, muted or with sound on, protect one and others from this egregore / thoughtform at all?
