@Nahemah: i'm trying to keep at that whole "minimalism" bit and I think I've

That's how my modest altar looked last year, I'm starting to expand it this year since
I will be adding more stuff into it.

@OP: I would suggest Initiation Into Hermetics if you want something more "intermediate"
to sink your teeth into.

I would just make a note of it in your journal and eventually, it'll make sense.

Being a practitioner of our art sometimes gets us in the flow of the universe
and little things tinker down to us but we just can't comprehend it because
we're not meant it yet.

@OP; I'm just curious as to how much research you've done with the traditions/styles
of magick out there. Surely, out of the many out there - you would've found something
that resonated with you.

What do you want to accomplish with your magick? That should be the first question
answered.

The method mentioned is sound.

As for telling the artist, since it's a protection tattoo - it's alright. I'm sure
he's gotten his fair share of "lucky"tattoos and whatnot.
The only thing that's going to be odd is how quiet you're going to be during the
whole working.

I'm a practicing sorcerer for 12 years now, my main focus are
Witchcraft, Chaos Magick, Elementalism, Eastern Esotericism
& recently, Hoodoo.
