I've seen different websites that offer a full horoscope report for individuals based on their birthdate and time. There is also a book out called "The Power of Birthdays, Stars, and Numbers" which has detailed horoscopes for every day on the year, plus their planets, numbers, and the birthdays of their most compatible friends/lovers/soulmates. My friend has that book- it's worth the price.

I'm no expert on astrology but I would say not. The sun sign is not the most important sign in the chart and is, of course, modified by the other planets and relationships in the chart, but I guess that you could read your sun sign info in the paper and relate it to the specific area of your life that sun sign relates to and get a partial interpretation.

You would really have to select your newspaper very well because most of it is unrelated to any actual astrological information as far as I can see from the few I've read and my limited knowledge of the subject.

caradoc is absolutely right.
there is no such thing as an 'aries'. the sun sign columns in newspapers and magazines are based on hypothetical situations that do not exist. a person with just a sun sign would be like a human with no skeletal system. literally, a lump of mush. and that is what most people notice when they read their horoscope.
there is so much that goes into a birth chart (which is the modern name for 'horoscope') that it is silly to think that every person born between 30 days in any given year, country, social situation gender etc.. could be experiencing the same thing. astrology has been around for 4000 years, the sun sign column has only been around for two-hundred. It is basically just an experiment and most professional astrologers have weeded it out of their daily practice.
it's fun, but it doesnt offer the close one on one co ntact of a real reading.
