I dunno. On one day - and since saving a seat is mentioned - you will probably only get theory. Reading through Benjamin Rowes articles on the web might have a similar effect, and be free. On the other hand, there might be more to the seminar, and DuQuette definitely knows what he is talking about, so if I was in NY, I'd probably be there just to look for pleasant surprises such as unusual bits of theory or a chat with someone experienced. This kind of things tends to be worth a lot more than $25.

Having attended many of Señor DuQuette's Monday Magick Classes at his house every week, I can say that he really is quite wise and funny. I've never been to an official workshop of his though. The classes he holds at his house are pretty informal, though still informative and he is totally open to questions. We did a 30 week session on scrying the Aethyrs, and it was very interesting.
I saw definately go if you can. You will not be disapointed.

Lon is really accessable for beginners. If you want to attend a basic intro to Enochian (even just because the words sound funny) this is the place to go.

DuQuette has proven his ability to dynamically introduce a specific field of magick he's expert in to a new student through his books and workshops/seminars.
Because I live in Greece, I've never attended such a workshop or anything similar (I've even tried to find out if he would be visiting Athens for the Olympiad by mailing him [NO], because it is a fact that he's the only "visible" and publicly accessible authority on Thelema, ceremonial magick, enochian magick, sex magick and all the other little things of my interest. And all this in one person - a bit overweight, but still a monad

I agree absolutely. I only have a dial-up connection and this file downloaded in about eight hours overnight. Do it!
The interviewer is an absolute idiot and retards the conversation somewhat, but I guess she is playing the part of the complete 'magically-unaware' listener in order to get information anyone can understand. If she'd done some research she would have known Lon can communicate the most complex ideas to the most dense of listeners and just left him to talk on his own initiative.
