Is this normal?
Original post: Necropolis
I trying to etherically project when I felt what could only be described as a ball of energy in the center of my brain that started moving toward my third eye as if trying to leave out it.

Hi Necropolis,
Normal, what in life is normal? lol I go out through my abdomen, like a bubble bursting, but I've heard other people say that they've gone out through their third eye area. I know for entering a controlled theta state some books have recommended tilting your eyes upward as if you were trying to look at the spot between your brows (with your eyes closed). Maybe that will help?

I go through the thrid eye area myself as it just...seems the best place for me. ANd who knows if it is normal anyhow, probably many people found different ways to go out of their bodies like through the other chakras, through arms, etc. So it really depends on each individual I would think...

I usually leave the via the solar plexus its easier for me to gather energy at this spot. But this isn't practical in any other position than laying straight on my back. If I ever tried to AP like sitting or standing then I'd probably do it through the third eye as well. Even then I find it so much easier to leave my body through a lucid dream state. Its like unzipping my head to reveal the real world that I am able to hope out of my body in what ever form I choose and roam about. Then hop back into my body and zip my head back up. So I guess that would be a 3rd eye Ap as well.

I tend to come out through the front of the head, although usually with a kind of upwards motion. By this I mean I start to come out through the face but slide along towards the top of the cranium but then float directly upwards.
However, I did once pop out the back of my head whilst lying on my side. On that occasion I wasn't trying to project. I was asleep at the time but came to consciousness as I slid out.
