In my home, the hot water rarely works in two appliances at once. If the clothes are being washed, the shower won't give me hot water ect.
To make a long story longer, this is how it went:
When I am in the shower, I usually have to pull the hot water my way. I don't know the mechanics of it, but I put both of my hands together (like praying, but my elbows are even with the bottom of my hands) and visualize water and fire merging together and flowing through my shower pipe. It worked, to put it simply. I do this quite a bit, but since the dishwasher, washing machine, and another shower were running I had to do it with a little more vigor.
Well, I have noticed that my left hand has a burn on it... it looks like a bubbly exclaimation mark and it hurts whenever rushing air or solids or liquids come in contact with it. I tried to scan it, but it is too dark...
What has caused this? I haven't worked with fire that directly besides for this mundane little pseudo-ritual I do in the shower, so I don't know what it means. Comments or ideas are encouraged.
PS: the burn itself is only 1/2 inches wide and 1/4 long, but it hurts pretty badly lol

Just for the sake of reason, let it be known that I was not in the water, I was aside from it during the whole thing (who wants to concentrate while cold water is beating down on them...not me...).

Maybe you were dreaming, trying to heat the shower, but the energy was directed at your hand, so you toasted yourself. This is why people do stuff like drawing magickal circles and rituals, because they are too complex to do in their sleep, so people don't toast themselves fighting dream wars. Seriously, you sound strong...I think you should consider protecting yourself from your own strength by incorporating more ritual than putting you hands together in the shower, or one day your going to boil your brain or something!!!!

I do understand fully what I did, what I didn't understand is how the burn manifested. If I didn't understand the actual act, I daresay I wouldn't be able to perform it with success. My question was concerning my burn, not how inept I am.
My father fears change, so it looks like I will have this water heater well after I am in college.
