In Holland, where I come from there's a saying that says: "You're kicking in open doors!" and I can tell your namesake wish already works.
But seriously, the box you talk would be a silly thing. You can create all expansion from out of the box that keeps your brain and I ain't talking skull here. If you think about it you cannot but find that your brain is a machinery that processes thoughts and wishes are nothing but a particular form of thought.

My understanding of magick is that such a thing would not be possible, except unless magically charged. A material that blocks psychic energy? Material IS psychic energy. Only way to block psychic energy is with psychic energy. If that didn't make sense:
