Hi...I'm new to this forum....And I must say it is simply amazing. I never knew that there was a place like this. Basically when I was younger at the age of 16 I began using DXM in my meditative practices...which eventually became mostly the abuse of the drug. Over a three year period I gained some amazing insights as well as some very strange abilities to the extent that I thought I was goin insane. I could turn off or on all most any electrical device....although I must say I couldn't do it consciencely it would just happen in my presence. At first it was just streetlamps than indoor light would burn out in my presence and finaly tvs radios and about anything. At this period in my life I was also having most of the symptoms of Temporal lobe epilepsy, and horribly VIVID dreams of spiritual attack. Well I finally quit all drugs and my practices. But ever since these times I've felt like something was lost (spiritaully) like apart of myslef perhaps was lost in the astral planes or perhaps one of those entities did really in fact take apart of my essence. And so now I'm tryin to get back into spiritual practices after a few year break and am wondering the best way to so with out driving myslef crazy... as a means to bring completion to myself...Any advice to get me on the path again would be greatly appreciated
