Some of you might have seen my projection comment on another thread on this forum, but I've just been extremely shaken up by what, for want of a better word, was a vision. Following several months of practising opening my third eye at will, I tried my nightly exercise just now, and immediately found myself, in my mind's eye, face-to-face with a girl I recognised, and yet I've never seen her before, with jet black hair. As soon as she sees me she turns away, but I see her turn in slow motion.
I don't understand this vision - I tried talking to her, but what she said in reply was completely unintelligable - the noise she made was just white noise.
And she had an aura. A very, very bright electric-blue aura.
Does anyone have any ideas what this could mean?

I forgot to mention that this projection was very different to most of mine - if indeed it was a projection - as my normal projected form is a black shrew, but I was aware of having taken a human form in this particular projection/vision.

Israel Regardie once said to Robert Anton Wilson that the reason so many aspiring magickians got in over their heads and became frightened and paranoid is that they focused on opening their "third eye" chakra before their heart chakra and were unprepared for the resulting psychic occurances. Perhaps you should consider this.

Thanks, that helps a lot. I actually experienced a much more vivid vision about an hour ago, without trying to project. This time I was in my own astral form, as a black shrew.
I'm not quite sure what it means yet, but I'll let you know when it becomes clear!

I opened the third eye just through a series of meditations - I find it unnecessary to use different chants; simply meditations on the elements, which gradually open up your third eye.
The bigger vision I had was in a lot of detail - a 1950s couple escape from a house with their little girl, but their baby boy is trapped inside and killed - I was back to a black shrew this time. Interestingly, the fire *did* actually happen, on a ley line that my house stands on. I'm trying to find out more, find out if the two visions are connected in some way.
