laughing (gas) matters
Original post: Eternal Footman
For those who have tried nitrous oxide (laughing gas), has anyone noticed any similarities between the drug and pulling away from your body (ie in an OBE)? I noticed feelings of weightlessness, sensory detachment, strong vibrational sensations, and ringing in my ears; all of which I experienced during my first OBE. It only lasts 10 seconds or so, but you feel so detached and removed when you are "high." Any similar experiences?

i find the dissociation of nitrous oxide beautiful.... all starlight, quicksilver and vibration.... the problem is that i have never been able to direct it (it is like being shaken-ripped from my body and and my atoms flung across that sky). the ringing sound and vibration are very similar to astral projection. the final moments of the trip (after the "cough") have at times brought peaceful astral visions which seem to have intensely "persoanal significance", often of peaceful stone faced watchers.... like New Guinean masks or Easter Island statues. problem is the like dreams, the visions fade into empty sound and light shows after a few minutes.
altogether my favourite trip (too bad in the last few years it has been made illegal where i live... leaving curious kids these days to try to find God in a tube of glue, a can of lighter fluid and thousands of dead brain cells).

mmmmmmm one of my favorite highs. I didnt really think about using it for OBE's....makes sense though.
As my wife was preparing to give birth I was using the laughing gas whenever she wasnt..hehe...it was a great stress releaver.... They should make it policy to give it to the husbands too.

there is a reason why nitros oxide is legal and available
and its not for whip cream
it's because a man can use it to ascend to the highest levels of consciousness possible thru its proper usage.
because it takes the mind to the brink of unconsciousness, we can examine "the other side" death.
Most of the ultra powerful episodes of magic, transcending reality and time and space, were done thru nitros oxide.
Of course, now I can do it without any aid of drugs or gas, but the point is, i would have never found that source of magic without NO2.
I can take any willing person into the temple and lay them down and give them NO2 with the proper scents and music and furnishings, and they will communicate with angels and gods sub rosa.
it takes alot of practice, and alot of nitros,
a few puffs isn't enough
there is a trick to breathing it too, taking in fresh air sometimes, to ride it out longer

Sub Rosa,
Is there a convenient way to do this with the small whipped cream chargers? It seems that is the form of N2O that is most readily available, but using them can be cumbersome. Ideally, I know one would like to have 2 large gas cylinders; one oxygen, one nitrous. I'm guessing 2 people (administrator, explorer) would best suit deep explorations with nitrous.

Strictly speaking, a FOAF told me this, since concentrating N2O constitutes an illegal act. Hence to advise you personally would make me culpable of, potentially, many breaches of the law. nevertheless, a FOAF did tell me this.
A whip-cream bottle costs little. You could, apparently, buy one for about $35 and discharge the gas into a balloon or plastic bag. This FOAF also said that discharging it directly into your lungs would put you at risk of internal frostbite, so you shouldn't do that. And, wonder of wonders, SWIM (Somebody Who Isn't Me) also recommended a website. How about that. I have seedy friends.

Regarding the actual use, try Listening. Try again and again, and you will probably see what I mean.
