Quite simply, yes. You don't even have to AP, merely remote presence to travel to other parts of this plane. Having said that about remote presence, the skill can invoke serious nausea very akin to motion sickness to those just starting out. Over time though, this feeling soon fades. This is all based on my experiences and the experiences of others, but this feeling is not universal.

*Shrug* I was able to do both, on an occasion, and provide the subject with factual information about it later on.
But I'm not a very orthodox APer

http://www.psipog.com should have everything needed to start a beginner out. Some adjustment to the astral senses (or ethereal (sp?), depends on which theory you follow) may be needed, but the sight is much like regular physical sight.

"depends on which theory you follow)" I would liek to state that do NOT follow every theroy to the letter, or this will result in partial results or failure, the reason is becuase every person is different and becuase of this, not everything will work to the letter, leave some room for experimentation (or follow it to teh letter if ya like and see how it turns out) anyway, a good example is snowboarders, each person has their own way of doing it, even during training they adapt to what fits them, even though they are being told to do somthing by the book. (another good one is the Police department, and if i am correct they tell the trainee's not to do everything to the letter in the hand book, but to adapt to the situation to get a safe result, etc.) anyway, enough of my rambling, look at the theorys, try em out, and adapt to what suits you, oh and try not to do many things at once, go slow and steady, and a good thing to keep with you is a joarnol/dairiy(spell?) to record exactly what you do and what teh results are. ANNNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDDD to close off my rambling, if you get no results, do not give up/get angry/kill people|things/etc. just try again and again till yu get tired, then rest and try later
...........ok..gatta stop rambling michael, let the people figure it out by them selvs....and stop doing that to yer self, you'll go blind. jk
