My opinion = Yes, it Could be harmful, but, that doesn't mean it will be, the odds of you actually getting harmed, I would think would be pretty low, but I mean if it was a 100% foolproof, we obviously wouldn't bother "shielding" ourselves. Don't let your fear stop you from AP though.

:twisted: From what I've heard, yes there is the potential of some harm while APing. This basically comes from psyvamps and the like that are on the astral and the worst they do is drain your energy, this will result in your snapping back into your body and feeling tired but that is about the extent of the enrgy drain. Now I have heard that there are other beings in the astral with a lot more power that could potentially physically harm you, but I don't think there are that many that you'd have to worry about that. If you did meet one with that kind of power the best thing to do is to raise your vibrational state as the vast majority of astral entities can't follow you into a higher vibrational state. People say to use shielding because the shielding can protect you from entities that drain your energy and can help protect you from more powerful entities until you can reach a higher vibrational state that they can't follow you into. To sum it up if you take no precautions then you have a higher but slim chance of being harmed during an AP then with taking precautions, and taking precautions gets your chances of being harmed down to almost 0%. :twisted:
