okay, for those who don't know anything about me, you can say that some of my gifts include talking to spirits and sometimes seeing them, don't know what you exactly call that, but f--- a fancy term; i can do it and i am trying to master it.
okay so, today (around 5pm) i was laying down, trying to rest my eyes and my head was pounding.
so i'm there thinking to myself about what i was going to do through out the week and this voice (thought) alien to mine says, "I, want you back with her." -it was very destinctive.
now for those of you who want to know who "her" is or what I've felt the spirit was referring to, you guys must know that me and my ex are on very bad terms, i mean she (my ex) doesn't want anything to do with me, so I've made the simple choice of not communicating with her anymore, and i feel that is the best choice that i could make.
Okay, so now I knew it was a spirit that was communicating with me and I asked the spirit for it's name and it told me that his name was "Raymond", and the weird thing was when i was mentally talking to him, I was getting the visual flashes of a swastika and I'm like what the hell?-so I asked Raymond what was up with that and he told me that he had been over there in germany during the war and he had seen the swastika everywhere and that was the most prominent symbol that he remembers.
Moving on- okay so I was telling Raymond that I didn't want to go go after my ex when she doesn't want to even give my her phone number.
So I asked Raymond if he left his ex in his lifetime and regretted it eversince but he didn't say anything. So then I just told Raymond that I have tried everything in my power to extend my hand in friendship (for our son's sake) and she doesn't want it, so I have moved on and that was it. I didn't ask him why he wanted my with her or anything like that because when i talk to spirits (sometimes) it's hard to keep the signal open and since I was feeling like crap before when I had laid down, this convo blew me out to a nap.
oh and by the way, the way i was speaking (mentally) wasn't like a normal convo, i was slowly speaking and emphasizing (<-if that's how you spell it:lol:) each word and like how the midget talked in twin peaks. I find that when I do that with spirits, I level the communication field to my advantage and i only ask specific questions, cuz sometimes (in my exp.) they will sometimes make no damn sense.

If you hadn't noticed, there are quite a lot fo folks on this Forum who speak with "spirits" on a regular basis so don't get depressed when folks don't respond with accolades overnight. A good piece of advice on OF is to check your ego at the door...if you are concerned that no one has responded, you probably haven't even begun to read the material already here and get a sense of the culture.
My take on this is that you are actually speaking with a fragment of your own consciousness which you have "externalized". Some say Crowley was doing this with Aiwass, some say Jane Roberts was doing the same with Seth. It doesn't make all that much difference, the question is how did this quasi-conversation change you or make you feel? Events like this are wonderful opportunities to examine our own consciousness from a slight but significant distance. If you haven't already, I would write the sequence of events down and then look at as many different explanations for the anomoly as possible, even ones that you have a firm conviction are wrong (e.g. it was an angel of YHWH commanding you to start a mighty nation with this woman) and then put it all away for a week. Revisit it and see how you and it (the event) may have changed.
Lon Milo Duquette (in My Life With The Spirits) and Robert Anton Wilson (in Cosmic Trigger, Volume I) are wonderful touchpoints for those who experience events like the one you describe.

But I think I know what you are saying because sometimes when the image of a person is in my mind, I would call them up thinking that something was wrong or that they wanted to speak to me but I was confused and frustrated when it wasn't so.
So under careful consideration and self examination, I've come to believe that those people actually came from my subconscious. Meaning that my subcons-used the images of certain people as an archetypal image or meaning to convey a message to me,(e.g. you're ugly but rough looking, so my subcons is trying to tell me that life is going to get rough or something like that)
so in that respect, I can see what you are saying but other than that mmothra, I (like everybody here) talk to spirits and I am confident that "Raymond" was one of them and I do write down all the experiences that I encounter.

They also have lives to lead and so are not logged into OF at all times. Also there are a lot of posts in the different threads. It can take as long as two weeks or more before you get a reply because of this. :twisted:

Now as far as the original question. I find that lots of soldiers get stuck between the here and there, for some reason. If he doesn't get lost tell him "Go towards the light, that's an ORDER, son!" should work good if he's really a soldier. I wouldn't try questioning him more, as the stuff you can learn from these things is minimal, and they are tormented, best to hurry them along so they can get on with their next incarnation (obviously he's not going to be the next boddhisattva LOL)

rin-no i haven't heard from "raymond" since then but check this out. i was looking on top of the cabinet (i am not bulls@%ting you either) and i found this metallic plaque that my step dad kept of his dad (my step-grand) from his funeral and guess what his name was?
uh huh, yep.
but naw, i haven't talked to him but what's been bugging me about it was why did he wanted me to talk to my ex-girl when those roads (by her choice) are closed and how in the hell did he know?
could he (can spirits) read thoughts or maybe he was around when i was last on the phone with her.
here's another thing that i've been pondering. i'm in a project building and this building is over 100 years old and ofcourse there's steel beams supporting this structure so maybe this is a huge energy drawer for all sorts of spirits.
just the residue of essence of all the people who have lived here from one time or another has built up to probably form a life of it's own.

Essence. It would be difficult to tell without someone who was
skilled at geomancy. Very interesting tale about the plate, though.
I wonder why "Raymond" has been sticking around rather than

and when i remembered him, i was a little kid and i always had this sad look on my face.
he would cheer me up by tickling the hell out of me feet.
but i remembered him to always be smoking a thick cigar and i didn't smell anything like that when i had encountered him.
i mean i hear that stuff like that happens when there's a ghost around.
