Trying to astral project one night i fell asleep, or so i thought, I dreamt I was walking through a wooded area, then onto some moorland, where I met a guy, who I really felt I knew but didnt recognise, he gave me a small object and told me to hold it tight, not to lose it, keep it with me always, i took it off him and left him continuing to walk through the moors, after a while I woke up.
However in my bed was a small sphere like object, almost like a marble a child would play with, but it was clear on one side, as i turned it in my fingers it turned a pinky colour, I had never seen this object before, and my kids assured me they hadnt put it in my bed, it certainly wasnt there when I went to sleep!
My question is, is it possible to astral travel when asleep and bring objects back with you?

I had a pendulum once that I lost while I was out with friends, we searched everywhere, I even turnd the pockets of the jacket I was where inside out, including the inside pocket. my dad made me research my jacket when I got home for it. I went to bed upset and I could only think of it. I had a dream I found it and put it in my jacket. When I woke up I worte it off, I kenw it was gone forever...later that day I'm out again, I reach for my wallet that I put in my jacket that morning, and I pulled out my pendulum. So yes I belive that it is possible, because there was no way I over looked it in my jacket before. (I say had because later that month it fell and broke in two, i have a nice hermitite one now)

thanx again for the information, ill read the relevent pages then try this! It as you said may take a while but id love to see if its possible, my little sphere came from somewhere, hopefully this will give me an insight as to where!
