I was a member of the old OF. You know, back before it was an archive. This is a new tag though because I'm mysterious. I wonder if I can get hooked again. How active is it here?

My interests are fairly broad. 'Theurgy' is a pretty good tag though.

Not hugely active at the moment, to be honest. It's getting there slowly, but it's nowhere near as active as OF was. I like to think of it as cozy, lol.

it will grow in time, as word gets out slowly that occultforums is the place to be. just like it was in the old days. in a way im glad that things have changed, less spam and trolls and more people who actually use magic and are knowledgeable about what they do. The old occultforums wasnt a success overnight, either. i joined back in '04 and i saw it grow tremendously over the years. Luckily we have a huge archive of posts that we can browse through.

How do I change my avatar?

Click on your current avatar to go to profile, and from the menu on the left-hand side, click "Personality". Avatar is the first block on that page.

There are a selection of cartoon avatars available; you may see some members with very similar styled large smiley avatars on the site. In the avatars section, there is an option to choose an avatar from this set, an option to upload your own, and an option to clear your avatar. May not necessarily be in that order though
