Hi,
Im just getting into this kind of supernatural/magic/occult/or whatever stuff for the first time. I joined BOTA http://www.bota.org/ and I plan on travelling to Peru to stay for a month and drink Ayahuasca. Now, Im not asking anyone to PROVE magic is real to me over an internet forum thread but I do want to know what changes its made in your life? Did you have any interesting experiences with the paranormal? Has it made you a better more successful person in your life? Can you now shoot lazers out of your eyes and fireballs out of your a**hole? I just wanted to know what magic has done in your life. Im interested but I wanted to see if people were having any results.

Some of the best books I've read thus far and have been helping in my development are hosted free here at http://www.thebaptistshead.co.uk/index. ... &Itemid=36 , That books great for anyone who's just beginning or even those who've alot of experience on the subject as it will probably open their eyes to new possibilities.

For me the interest in the occult was always there, it was just being in the area I grew up I couldn't do anything with or about it. I learned absolute basic things about crystals and rocks and various inscence from a friend of the family. It was a good several years later until I began to actually look into and try to practice what I'd always felt connected to. I've always had a slight gift of empathy and was told by my grandmother that I may have inhereted latant abilities family's line. (Her parents were from Czecholslovacia back when it was still called that.) In fact she's the only one in my family to encourage my interest in the occult. Since then its more of me trying to find where my tallents are and to expand them into something usable instead of just random acts of instinct, if that makes any sense.

Here is my experience with the Occult:
Hello everyone. Today I had an overwhelming urge to evoke Saturn, surprisingly at the hour of Saturn, and I've never evoked anything ever in my life but lately i've been reading and collecting information etc and studying a sorcery course.
I didn't have incence so I used a white candle instead, something in my head told me it was okay don't ask me what or how, i'm confused about this myself. During the ritual, I saw nothing to show me that Saturn was with me, so I felt a little sad about that but I decided that for sure he is with me (forcing myself to believe it), so that's when I spoke to Saturn from my heart, telling him about me and how I was feeling. I asked him for two requests related to the same thing, not too far fetched, something obtainable but also just out of reach, and I asked him that if he did appear with me today, that he must show me these things within the hour. I then said 'What can I offer you in return?' and I never received a response, I felt as though my energy was somehow blocking him from talking because I was nervous. So I said 'in return i'll post your results on a forum' but something in my head told me that I needed to post the results on 5 forums. I was thinking to myself 'geez 5 forums...' but I decided fine i'll post Saturn's results on 5 forums.
Now here is the amazing part of everything. UP until this point, I had no clue that Saturn was there with me. As I was doing a prayer goodbye, I looked at the flame of the candle and the flame was spitting little balls of fire up into the air, about 5mm above the tip of the flame. I knew instantly that Saturn was there with me! Possibly his way of trying to show me that he was there all along! OMG I was so shocked but still pretty calm.
So then, I walked over to the flame (after my goodbye and end of the ritual) and said 'Saturn are you going to show me by doing the things I asked you to do, that it was you that was here' and the flame started going crazy! So I was like 'Thanks Saturn' and couldn't stop smiling.
So it wasn't an hour later, but it was about an hour and twenty minutes later, both of my requests came through.
So hence the reason for this post! Have faith everyone, do your excercises than do what feels comfortable to you. I now have more confidence in my abilties and am going to practice every day.
